What you will do
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Team as we are actively recruiting for a Controls Integration Technician. This position reports to the Application Engineer. The hourly rate for this position at Pro West Machinery will generally fall between $24-$31. Pro West Machinery will consider various factors in determining the actual pay including your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location. We are looking for a Controls Engineering Technician who will join our Pro West Machinery team in Temecula, CA.

Responsibilities:
· Assist Application Engineer to develop robotic systems for plastic injection molding and extrusion applications.
· Write and implement software code to control the behavior and functionality of robots for process applications ranging from material handling to material continuous path dispensing.
· Participate in testing and debugging to evaluate the performance, reliability, and safety of robotic systems by following the validation protocols.
· Perform validation of machine communication protocols and assist with automation system startup and commissioning at customer facility.
· Perform system diagnostics, status and troubleshoot alarm messaging.
· Prepare reports as per project requirements.
· Follow all company safety policies and other safety precautions in the working area.
